We’re a family-run, full-service commercial and financial printer that’s been leading the industry since 1949. With advanced sheetfed, web, large format, digital press capabilities — plus New England’s largest bindery/finishing operation — we’re proud of our history and excited about our future. Now, we’re looking for skilled Folder Operator to join our growing team.

Set the standard before it hits the press.

  • Review and verify impositions for accuracy, including page sequencing, folding schemes, and binding requirements.
  • Generate and inspect proofs (digital or press proofs) to validate layout and content placement.
  • Ensure all files meet press specifications, including sheet size, gripper margins, color bars, and registration marks.
  • Collaborate with prepress, press operators, and finishing teams to confirm job requirements and resolve layout issues.
  • Identify and correct alignment, pagination, or formatting errors prior to plate making or press run.
  • Verify that customer specifications and job tickets are accurately translated into production layouts.
  • Maintain consistency across multiple versions or variable data projects.
  • Assist with troubleshooting layout or imposition issues during press setup.
  • Document changes and maintain version control throughout the workflow.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in graphic arts or printing preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in prepress, imposition, or press setup within a commercial printing environment.
  • Strong understanding of imposition, pagination, folding, and bindery processes.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and print specifications.
  • Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning skills for layout alignment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
