Allied Printing Services, Inc. is seeking a driven Receiving Clerk to be the first critical step in our printing process. In this fast-paced manufacturing role, you'll receive and verify incoming materials, operate a forklift, and ensure inventory is accurately staged to keep our pressroom, bindery, mailroom, large format, hand bindery departments running efficiently. This is a hands-on opportunity to build a long-term career with growth potential in a stable, industry-leading print operation.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, unload, and inspect daily inbound deliveries from vendors and customers.
- Verify shipment quantities and contents against packing slips and documentation.
- Safely transport receivables using a forklift and stage materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Store, organize, and distribute raw materials and finished products as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, clerical documentation, and delivery logs.
- Pull press schedules and distribute materials to the pressroom.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
- Previous warehouse or receiving experience.
- Working knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count, sort, and verify materials.
- Basic math, reading, and writing is required.
Physical Requirements
- Walking 50% | Standing 50% | Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying 25–50 lbs. and more. | Ability to stand for extended periods. | Safely move materials weighing 500–750 lbs.| Using manual pallet trucks | Driving, sitting, standing, walking, while operating a fork truck.
- Ability to lift, move, and position materials throughout the workday and safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials.
