Job Summary 
The Inserter Operator sets up, adjusts, and operates Inserting Machine that automatically feeds, folds, and/or inserts printed sheets into envelopes for packing or mailing.

Job Description 

• Reviews job bag for specifications, customer samples and proofs if furnished.
• Set up inserting machine at the beginning of each job to the specifications on the job bag. 
• Adjusts machine as necessary to complete specified job.
• Responsible for traying and palletizing inserted mail.
• Gives sample to Supervisor for approval before proceeding with production run.
• Keep supervisor informed of any concerns or issues that would compromise quality, schedules, or safety. 
• Sort mail, place in tray, strap, and prepare finished mail pieces for delivery to USPS under direction of the operator. 
• Inspects material during production run, and adjusts machine as required.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.  
• A minimum of 3+ years' experience in setup and running a inserter machine.
• Experience with tooling and machinery.
• Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. 
• Good manual dexterity and visual skills required.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork, energy level, productivity, quality focus, self-motivated, organization, time-management, attendance and attention to detail needed.

Physical Requirements: Standing-80%, Walking-20%, Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling 50lbs. Lifting 25-50 lbs. consistently. 

Job Type: Full Time 
Shift Available & Schedule: 3rd shift: 12:00am-8:00-am.
