Job Summary:

 We are seeking a skilled Die Cutter Operator to join our team. The Die Cutter Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die cutting machinery to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the printing industry, particularly in operating die cutting equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate die cutting machinery according to job specifications, including adjusting settings for size, shape, and material.
  • Monitor production process to ensure quality standards are met, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform regular maintenance on die cutting machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary repairs to keep production running smoothly.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including machine operators and production managers, to coordinate workflow and meet production deadlines.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications: 

  • Mathematic skills to include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and hand tools.
  • Proficient knowledge of production materials, quality methods, and color standards are necessary. 
  • Good verbal and written comprehension to understand job orders and follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in production schedules, equipment, or procedures as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.  
  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience in setup and running a die cutter press is preferred. 
  • Previous experience working in the printing industry, with specific experience operating die cutting equipment preferred.

Physical Requirements: Standing-80%, Walking-20%, Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling 50lbs. Lifting 25-50 lbs. consistently. 

Job Type: Full Time 
Shift Available & Schedule:  1st shift: 8:00am-4:00pm, 2nd shift: 4:00pm-12:00am, 3rd shift: 12:00am-8:00am
